The magic

Caught in the clutches of a demon, this maintenance workers fate hangs in the balance. We opened portals to hell on some of the largest screens in the world; Las Vegas, New York and Seoul for the launch of Diablo IV. This next level 3D billboard creative broke the fourth wall with its anamorphic optical illusion, unleashing the world of Diablo across the globe.

The measurement

The global campaign for Diablo IV contributed to the best launch in Blizzard’s history with $666 million in revenue, equivalent to the biggest cinematic opening weeks of the year. Players have already spent over 276 million hours in the game, making it Blizzard Entertainment’s best-selling and most-played game.
