Role Summary

At Pixel Artworks, IT is at the heart of everything we do,  and we’re really excited to be hiring a Senior IT Manager to enable our teams to create their best work, collaborate with team members and innovate using new tech and software. You’ll lead the continuous development of systems and processes and will develop, support and maintain our equipment such as computers & services from both a hardware and software perspective. You’ll be supported by a IT Support Engineer, who you will line manager and you’ll lead our relationship with our external IT support partner.

You’ll be comfortable being hands on, along with the ability to bring new strategic ideas to the table and will have a passion for new technology and innovation. 

Key Responsibilities

General business:

- Work with external IT consultant to oversee and manage multiple elements of IT operations and support within the business across multiple locations including the main London office, satellite studio and Dubai office - as well as any remote workers.
- Assist with the overall business technology planning, providing current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems.
- Work in coordination with all departments to support the IT requirements of the organisation.
- Support the successful completion and delivery of digital content from the Studio.
- Work with the studio to maintain.
- Line manage 2nd line IT Support Engineer.

Support:

- Ensure 24/7 uptime of servers running MS Server 2012 – 2019, Terminal Services, Hyper-V, and vmWare, plus QNAP and Synology NAS and 32 node CPU render farm and 6 node GPU render farm managed by Thinkbox Deadline.
- Maintain networking equipment such numerous Netgear switches and Watchguard firewalls including technologies such as: fibre, VPNs, DHCP, DNS and VLANs.
- Support the Accounts team with Quickbooks and Yooz.
- Manage the IT Support Desk using ZohoDesk to triage, track and respond to support tickets in a timely manner that takes into account the priorities of the business.
- Provide a high standard of support to all IT users including application support where required and enhanced support for the Studio team and their specialist software packages including Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Maxon Cinema 4D, various plugins and other flagship design packages.
- Maintain the Office 365 platform, manage users, deploy, troubleshoot and support any of the Office Suite packages.
- Manage the phone system based upon CallSwitch and Yealink handsets, working with our 3rd party provider when necessary.
- Facilitate the working from home arrangements for everyone in the company, ensuring optimal hardware setups, connectivity, ergonomics and remote access to all PA systems.

 Misc:

- Research and procure cost-effective IT equipment and software that facilitates the goals of the business.
- Track software licensing and ensure legality of all deployments, and procure when required.
- Keep up-to-date with advances in technology and industry best practices.
- Create and maintain supplier relationships that provide value and maximise the best available technologies.
- Control budget and report on expenditure.
- Work with IT consultant in maintaining security of IT systems and compliance with relevant data protection laws including GDPR.
- Identify security vulnerabilities and eliminate them with strategic solutions that increase security posture.
- Maintain the main London Comms room and server cabinets.
- Manage the performance and progression of any employees/freelancers within the IT team.
- Providing training for staff and freelancers on new technologies, best practises and policies.
- Maintain a hardware inventory of kit issued to staff members and freelancers.

We are looking for an experienced System Designer who thinks outside the box and is willing to go the extra mile. The System Designer will take the project's creative brief and devise a technological solution to bring it to life. The design of this solution comprises the video, audio, lighting, interactive and control elements and their integration to form a cohesive, robust "system". 

At Pixel Artworks, our immersive creations are led by the audience's experience. Therefore, in keeping with this philosophy, we strive to be tech-agnostic in our design approach and always choose the best solution, balancing all project needs.

Key Responsibilities

The SSD is responsible for the technical design of the system, including:


Defining the system architecture and its comprised equipment, adhering to industry/company standards where possible
Defining signal infrastructure and communication protocols
Defining show control and automation requirements
Integration with systems by other contractors

Examples of outputs an SSD is expected to produce include:

Drawing and issuing technical schematics for the entire project
Drawing and issuing rack layouts 
Compiling briefings and task lists for lead technicians and programmers
Creating base projects for operators/programmers
Issuing technical documentation for commissioning
Testing set up of technology in both project and R&D contexts.

Skills and Competencies

Strong understanding of network topology design, setup and deployment

Role Summary

We are on the lookout for a fantastic Senior Visualiser who will draw upon a wealth of experience to oversee and create 2D and 3D visualisations to sell our best-in-class immersive experiences to existing and prospective clients.

They will be an advocate of Pixel Artworks’ creative vision during the sales process and beyond, ensuring that our ideas are illustrated beautifully, and our brand is consistently represented accurately. 

As well as creating visuals themselves, the Senior Visualiser will be responsible for ensuring all visuals created by others (other staff members, freelancers etc.) meet the company’s approved visual style, so we have a consistently high response to all client briefs.

They will work with other members of the Studio and the Client Services team, taking briefs and reviewing work with them.  The Senior Visualiser reports to the Client Services Director and Creative Director.

The Senior Visualiser can have a tangible impact on the outcome of the sales process as visualisations of our ideas are integral to every pitch.

Key Responsibilities

Creative

Have oversight of and take accountability for the visuals created for all projects.
Be able to create best-in-class 2D and 3D visualisations using Cinema4D, Photoshop and Octane.
Work with Creative Directors to understand the vision that needs illustrating.

We are now looking for a Senior 3D Artist to fit into our creative and production workflow and take on the biggest projection mapping, and technical production shows in the world.

This is a really exciting opportunity for a Senior 3D Artist to join our fun, innovative studio, reporting to one of our Creative Directors. We are looking for someone to join our team to create immense immersive experiences, often as big (or bigger) than a building and seen by many! Role Summary

We're hiring a Producer to join our growing team of producers. In this role, the Producer will be responsible for planning and delivering world-class creative experiences, overseeing creative and technology specialists and working closely alongside our production team to deliver projects. Ensure the successful and timely delivery of projects by successfully budgeting, scheduling, and managing workload.

Must have strong communication skills
Show tact and diplomacy when negotiating tricky briefs with clients.
Highly organised – experience using project management tools.
Understand animation pipelines.
Responds positively to change and is calm under pressure
Comfortable managing budgets & escalating when necessary
Enjoys working in a team and independently.
Good understanding of 3D/2D animation
