WORK: Yahoo!'s Interactive Wonderland
We pulled together a bevy of interactive installations to help Yahoo! launch their customisable new homepage.
Yahoo!'s new homepage was recently revamped with a multitude of new features, all designed to help users customise their experience and for advertisers to better target their markets. To showcase the new features - and reflect Yahoo!'s forward-thinking ethos - we worked with ComShows to install a number of digital experiences at the press launch. Guests were greeted upon arrival with a giant iPhone displaying Yahoo!'s beautiful new weather app, before entering the event space to find an enormous HD video-wall, which was used to display Flickr photos and as a presentation aid for key speaker, Nick D'Aloisio.
Around the room were three pods demonstrating key apps and features in greater depth. Each pod had its own bespoke 'Out of Screen' projection mapping around the screen, and the sports app had an interactive floor too.
The event was topped off with a set of our AdCubes, our instant video-mapping show, photo display and Twitter wall.
